I’ve never made a gingerbread house, but watching one of Brutalmoose’s old VODs inspired me to make this comic. lol

It’s their first time making a gingerbread house! They succeeded… of course with a door and one and a half walls missing (throughout the process more “extras” were “taste tested”), but still a success.

Happy Halloween!!! I drew a (1) thing. Jayei and Cordy went trick or treating with Albert’s [term for a family member] (I only drew this character once and I don’t remember how he’s related, time to maybe retcon with something. lol).

A jackalope with a beautiful (and feminine) voice that could be described as “angelic”, sadly his personality is the exact opposite. One of the rare monster children who are suddenly born into existence with no parents, stranded in the wilderness living by himself. Until one night, a tune attracted him and led him to a mortal practicing the piano. The two bonded over music (more like kid!Sopraan bonded WITH music, and the mortal bonded with him), and he was adopted into the mortal’s family. Sopraan visited their family business (some type of music shop) and continues to do so. Nowadays, however, it’s a bar run by their third great-grandkid.

He’s self-centered and a bit standoff-ish since he doesn’t really like mortals (despite being raised by one)…. or anyone in general…. He’ll tolerate people who want to listen to him perform, as long as they don’t bother him. He will not go out of his way to be rude to someone (he doesn’t have fun being a jerk), unless pushed. He may be easy to annoy, but he doesn’t get angry easily. He talks in a proper and sophisticated manner (so he doesn’t use much slang in his vocabulary), but if he’s really (and I mean REALLY) mad he can be vulgar.

As much as he loves music and is proud of his abilities, he isn’t the type to gloat about his abilities. If someone wants to play music with him, he won’t resist allowing them (just be good..). He’s not competitive, if you challenge him to see who’s the best you’ll just annoy him. He doesn’t care if one doesn’t like his sound, all that matters is that he enjoys it. Although, he’d be baffled at someone who doesn’t like music in general.

He doesn’t fight much, but his fighting ability is an extension of his singing skills. He is able to weaponize his singing and use them as attacks with his magic. High notes are his specialty, with his magic his voice can stun, echo-locate, manipulate objects and ground, hurt if they get really high, and even manifest his vocals to transform into arrows. He does not attack with instruments, to him that would be disrespectful to the instruments (be happy you’re not getting hit over the head with a guitar).

ROLE CALL!!:

Shoot! (Real name: Von Zira): She’s the leader, and also the shortest of the group but who says height is relevant to leadership? She sings and plays the guitar! She, along with Tri, came up with the idea to form a band inspired by their mutual admiration for Julie Nova’s performances (they even got to meet him once!). But, what really pushed Shoot to become serious about the idea of being a band was Julie’s sudden disappearance (no one in the real world knows he’s in a different dimension). She can be playful, but she is dedicated to making music that can effect people’s lives. She’s cool, calm, and collected…. unless she’s around Fall during free time, then there’s only one braincell between the two (and she definitely doesn’t have it).

Tri! (Real name: Gaige Grant): The tallest of the group, but the shortest of his family (they are very tall). He’s the drummer! He’s the least chaotic of the group (Shoot and Fall are both very chaotic), so he’s like the straightman of the group. But, that doesn’t mean he doesn’t get into any wacky antics with the rest of the group (Wacky antics being roughhousing and things like it)!

Fall! (Real name: Cherry Verity): A pretty recent addition to the band (has been with them for a year and some change), but it’s like she’s always been here! She rocks with a keytar! She may look sweet (and she is!), but she can be pretty vicious is she has to! But she’d rather be nice, so don’t get on her bad side. :)

At least it’s fun watching the little “enemies” follow you. lol (The enemies were meant to add time to the timer, so this game would be a Puzzle with a time attack mechanic) (Did not have time to actually add that mechanic, whomp)

Made a reference sheet for Cane, since I needed some new examples.

Cane is a Sugarbat Imp monster, they love to eat anything sugary by using their tails to inject the sugar into their body. Not really a violent monster, but could be if provoked enough. The Sugar Rush forme is used mostly to intimidate (gotta get that sugar!) instead of attack.

This is Gekkaine, a summon-only monster (very convenient, i know), it looks like it barely eats but it eats a lot. They’ve got chainsaws attached to their arms (might even just be their arms? it’s a mystery)  that they use to tear open their target and eat their favorite part… guts, yum. P:

This was rushed because I was busy focusing on that group project instead of working on this…. I tried to get the character to actually worked as a WheeledVehicle but that just wouldn’t happen, so I had to make it a normal pawn. Wanted to add cel shading to it so I did, also wanted to figure out adding outlines for the character but had no time to do that.

All models and textures are made by me.

I made a squid-based coffee shop (had to make a coffee shop), which is totally not affected by my love for the Splatoon series at all. Nope.

I was being lazy with this, which is a good idea being lazy on my final (but it got an A still. lol). This character does have 2 mouths like Sonic, but I decided to just move the camera rather than do the same lipsync twice (very lazy).

This was supposed to be done in 3DS Max but I made the model and rig and Blender and exporting is a nightmare so my instructor let me make the animation and render in Blender.

Hey, more Project: Permute characters, haven’t made a post about that in a while.. ;P

There is an organization named ACR (Advancement of Cybernetics Research) they are mostly the ones who make the ferroids (androids and cyborgs), in fact they are the first ones to research possibilities and make them a reality.

There are 2 branches of ACR, ACR-M and ACR-E. ACR-M is the medical branch and is kind of split into 2: ACR-M-PH (PH for Physical) are the doctors, the one Dr. S. Kris is a part of, and there’s ACR-M-PS (PS for Psychological)  the psychiatrists which Dr. Coquelicot is. ACR-E are the engineers, the people who create the robot parts and whatnot.

Nothing specific about the characters above cause.. uhh.. spoilers I guess. lol

Valentines is coming up, but any day is good to celebrate love! And not just romantic love, platonic love is just as important.

Don’t have a person (or people) you love? That’s okay, because love for something you really love (like a game or something else) counts too!

He’s Warrick Rex, a Gerberian Shepsky (German Shepard/Siberian Husky mix), and… um… Well I can’t think of a description that isn’t spoilery so just have the character. lol

Zephyr is a magical skunk who has summoned monsters just to trap them in
home-made (by them!) plushies, to keep them from causing any trouble
and to mess with them… Okay, maybe mostly mess with them but they do
care about keeping the monsters from killing people.It’s
dangerous to mess with gigantic monsters, especially ones of the
bloodthirsty variety. (Just look at Spade, it is SEETHING frustrated at
Zephyr) But, not only has Zephyr bound them to the plushies, they also
enchanted them with a spell that keeps them from killing them no matter
how much the monsters try (and they definitely try A LOT).The
monsters captured are: Spade (black, Earth elemental), Heart (red, Water
elemental), Club (green, Wind elemental), and Diamond (blue, Fire
elemental).

Hey, more characters! Been having fun coming up with colors for them (Although I already came up with a palette for Orion months ago :U)….

Already mentioned Cynna and Orion here before, but to sum up their relationship they’re BEESSST FRIIENDS forever and ever ♥

Ambrosia works in a restaurant called Cavy Café as a chef and deliverybird, she likes to cook Raz’ favorite pancakes for him (I wonder if he actually gets charged for the amount she’s cooked for him… lol). Clare’s hobby is robotics, he’s very good with his work and has some connections with an important company but chooses not to work with them since he prefers to just make little robots in his own spare time. They both love Raz and like to spend time with him (or in Ambrosia’s case: feed him pancakes).

Yay, I made colored drawings of the main characters instead of non-main characters again. lol

Clover likes to collect a bunch of junk, they live in an abandoned part of a city that’s all broken down and dilapidated. Nobody else lives there (.. or do they? 👀), but it’s a great place to find junk so that’s why they live there. Clover found “Rory” somewhere there (that doesn’t make them junk though. LOL).

“Rory” was a little rusted and powered down, also they don’t have much memories… So yeah, think of this character as kinda like Shadow the Hedgehog but only a little (Cause they’re not artificial life made by aliens and a doctor in a space ark, that’s not where the similarities come from. ;P) and not the Boom version of him, never the Boom version. lol

“Rory” is in quotation marks cause that’s just a name given to them by Clover, when Clover checked if they had a name it was just a default serial code name (and those don’t make good names for a person).

First three are from a gang called “Team Junk”, their nicknames are trash-based… With Tabitha’s nickname literally being “Trash”. lol

They’re not really a dangerous gang, they just mess around for fun. So, their weapons aren’t deadly. “Trash”‘s Gatling gun just shoots tranquilizers, “Wreck”‘s Opossum Bombs are smokebombs, and “Carrion” shoots out ink to immobilze people that may be chasing after them (it’s slippery). “Carrion” doubles as a “getaway” bird and can carry “Trash” and “Wreck”.

Then there’s June, she’s a nerd mechanic. ;P

Made another character for Project: Permute (the fox, her markings make her look more like Tom Nook but she is indeed a Corsac Fox) so why not figure out a color pallete for her? As well as figure out ones for Lissandre and Kim. ;P

I made the little mole roibuts a while ago, just never designed a creator of them til now.

Their name is Dr. Phlox (if that is your real name), they live underground and made those little robots to steal things. They don’t have any claws, so they made fake oversized claws (which is what is sticking out of the trench coat).

Wanted to come up with why Gasper is a drippy armadillo with shapeshifting abilities because that’s not really a typical thing in the world and it’s nice to have explanation for things instead of going “that’s how it is”. :P (It was also bothering me that I hadn’t thought of a reason before)

Reason being he was made by a doctor named Dr. Lye, she created living slime creatures and also studies them. (Gasper is the only experiment that has animal DNA so all the other slimes are just blobs)

Like Gasper, the slimes can shapeshift and whatnot. I designed some variants cause I thought it would be fun to make some based off of slime mold (and it was).

Yes, I had to doodle this because of that song’s name.

This one doesn’t eat people, it just likes to eat expensive shiny rocks and also horde them. So, Zephyr gave it the nickname “Hourd” (like the other monsters, it doesn’t have a name).

Even though it doesn’t go out of its way to eat meat, it will still try to attack people who touch its stash (or if they won’t give something it wants up). Sometimes it just stings people for fun.

The design is based off of scorpions, crabs, and sea urchins.

Goretober Day 25: Bones Showing

Its design is based off of some toy-thing I saw in a dream (might not a 1:1 recreation of it but the face and body shape is right). So it’s technically not based off of any animal but I guess it’s somewhat similar to sea slugs (I also noticed it has some similarities with Gastrodon. oops).

Since it’s based on a toy-thingy, it disguises itself as one of those park toys to lure in pray. The “mouth” on its face-mask (it’s actually part of its body, not a mask) has slime in it that it can control to drip on prey to immobilize them (rip). (Although, its entire body is slimy like the other monsters.. :P)

Started randomly doodling “Spade” then I colored it, so I decided to draw the rest of the monsters. :P

Was gonna introduce with a colored picture but when am I ever going to get to that so have these sketches instead. First one and last three were drawn today, others were drawn days ago. :U

Zephyr is a magician skunk who has summoned monsters/demons? (I haven’t decided on which. lol), not to reek havoc on others though, more like on the monsters.. Just for fun.. That’s a fun thing to do right?

None of the monsters have actual names but Zephyr does refer to them by nicknames, the group I based on those card symbols are nicknamed after their symbols. They have a magical necklace put on them by Zephyr to bind them to the plushie bodies (hand-made by Zephyr) and it also hurts them if they try to attack/kill Zephyr. The last monster (Zephyr calls it “Greedy” since it eats a lot… and tries to kill and eat them) doesn’t have that necklace because it was strong enough to break it off when Zephyr put one on it. Zephyr likes to tease it when it tries to kill them (the thought of killing the skunk one day, fills the monster with determination).

Maybe he could even teach it some new dance moves… B)

Permute! Sounds like a placeholder name but I’m keeping it cause it
sounds cool.

First one is a chimera, Pokemon (coughType:Nullcough)
inspired me to make one and i think their design came out good. The
chimera was someone (well, technically multiple someones) illegally
experimented on. Second is Lissandre Blanc, they’re a high school friend
of Clover (the main character) they live with an android named Kim. Kim
(the third one) is kind of naive and also gets on Lissandre’s nerves a lot but they enjoy their company.

Their name is Kasper and they’re a.. drippy sea armadillo thingy, they can shapeshift and change color (these colors aren’t their natural ones).

He’s related to that idea thingy which has no name yet… Like the idea, he also has no name yet. lol

Some characters I’ve made for an idea I haven’t thought enough about. By the characters, the idea has roibuts/androids in it. Rory and Clover are gonna be the protags, with Cynna and Orion being characters they meet at some point.

Will possibly be more detailed about the idea when I have more… ideas for it. :B

3DS Game Notes doodles once again… Had to have at least one original character in it… :P

Been a while since I last posted 3DS Game Notes doodles…. Dunno what number this is. lol

Not all were done on the same day, some are older than others, I drew the Jaeger one months ago but just finished it last night and I drew and finished Volcanion (first time drawing it!) last night too.

I figured an art blog would be good for people to actually see my art instead of also seeing mostly reblogged posts like on my main.

This is also for my last semester 2D Art for Games class.

It’s unrelated to the horror theme, we had to make high-res sprites for a background. We chose a random genre and I got shoot-em up so I decided to remake the background from that shoot-em up game I made for Summer before last’s Game Dev (forgot the actual name. lol) class.

Drawings I made for a 2D Art for Games class I had last semester. I kept forgetting to post these. We had a theme to make backgrounds and characters from and I got a Horror theme (which is what I was hoping I’d get. lol). ;P

There was a no animal characters rule so i had to make human characters.. u~u

Everything was fun to do though, I enjoyed the class. Can’t remember individual grades I got on stuff but I passed with an A.

Her name is Cher Pike, she was
brought to the world of MiNUS after wanting some independence from her
gang (all the gang members are her friends and she loves them, but being
part of a gang is very demanding). No hard feelings against it though,
since that small jacket she’s wearing is her old gang jacket. Her weapon
of choice are multiple pairs of scissors, she collects a bunch of them
(her collection is probably infinite. lol). She also has a habit of
showing her… love with them. :U

Made another character, again.. Woopsies.. :P

His name is Julie Nova, he’s an idol (he’s a pine marten)! He likes to sing and put on shows, also has shadow bodyguards he can call on. They don’t care much for what Julie does. lol

Another character so soon? How dare I.. ;P

Their name is Rena Patel, they’re an energetic serval who can be kind of a klutz sometimes. They like to go out and watch fish, which is how they met their pet piranha (Rena named it Snappy).

A character for a thing! Their name is Jaeger Darning, they’re a somewhat venomous (although they don’t have a poison immunity) porcupine who likes to make (and mess with) voodoo dolls.

Jaeger’s an insomniac (meaning has insomnia, nothing to do with Insomniac Games. LOL), has tattoos on their eyes to cover the bags the other tattoos are there to go with it (and also cause they look cool).
